CBD Use By Americans Rises
Ever since the Farm Act of 2018 legalized the cultivation of hemp in the U.S., use of CBD products by Americans has significantly increased. According to a recent Gallup Poll, 14% of Americans say they use CBD products. Another 50% say they don’t use CBD, and the remaining 35% are not familiar with CBD products.
Of the CBD users, the following is the age breakdown:
The Western United States represents the largest region of users.
The top reasons for CBD use are for pain, followed by anxiety, sleep, and arthritis.
Muscle spasms/Soreness: 4%
Skin care: 2%
For pets: 2%
